Good Morning World... Sat 3rd, 7.34, 18.7dg. The above is so true... Blissful day yesterday in the heat.. we reached 36dg in the shade on the terrasse... even for me it was hot!!. I had a wonderful table picnic on the cool side of the house that went on for several hours.. then a little relax on the lounger under an umbrella.. Hmmm Summer. I had an incident with my electrics yesterday that meant I had to call the power supplier.. they came, after hours, and we discovered that a plug that my husband had wired was causing the blow outs... My husband, Bless, put Austrian plugs on all our NZ appliances, powers boards and extension cords... It appears he had decided to by pass the earth wire and just wire in the two power wires!! I now have to open every plug he changed and check and rewire the false ones. Happy Days Paulii!!! Today I am taking the last of the hedge trimmings up to the recycler.. I have stopped as the last piece has beaten me. It is on the neighbours side and cannot reach it to finish, so job over... Yay!! Now just the wood stack. The local weekly paper published a request from the Gemeinde ... please be respectful of the guests and residents and do not start lawn mowers, chainsaws, hedge cutters and building site work noise before 8am weekdays, and no machinery noise on a Saturday after midday, or on Sundays !! So, given that I will come into line and work within the rules.. how good am I ??? I love Austria. No really, I do. Question .. does Austria love me, answer, Well, under present circumstances, no I do not think so. up and away and off to collect the rubbish, quietly, to get the front driveway cleared. Singing in the sun.
