Whether the weather be fine,
Whether the weather be not,
Whether the weather be cold,
Whether the weather be hot,
We’ll weather the weather,
Whatever the whether,
Whether we like it or not.
Good Morning to Sunday...4th, 5.47, +4.4dg, 2.9ml rain and forecasting a cloudy start to the day with the sun popping up later... so they say!! Last nights snow alert feels as though it may have been correct, I cannot see the tops as they are obscured with a grotty inversion layer that has been hanging around for some time, but the temp is a good indicator. Checked the oil tank yesterday... eyes on stalks... but still haven't flipped the switch, so filled my bicycle trailer with wood and dragged it up to the door. Fire last night and will light it again early today, it is just too cool without heat.
Yesterday was spent quietly inside doing something that should have been done some years ago... spurred on by the silly antics of the last weekend, I have now photographed, documented and downloaded the contents of the house that need documenting. Perfecto !!! I have also sorted out the safe, and rehoused that which should be kept there. Shiny halo. Decisions done and dusted, contacts made, information sent, now I sit and watch and wait. The trick will be to keep track of who has what info, but hopefully good results and things sorted before I go to England in June for my brother's 60th. My second halo of the day comes from me putting on a pair of " sports shoes " and taking all my recycling up to the recycler.. one hour to do the round trip, that time line would want to improve somewhat!! Third halo for the day was I had time out on my bed. My physio will be so impressed with me. AND, yesterday I managed to walk down three stairs, with only one foot on each as opposed to each stair with two feet. Result. Perhaps today I will managed more than three stairs. A month on and there is light
