#Finally #OnMyLangLaufSki

Friday 6th, 5.37, -6.7dg, forecasting for a partly cloudy but dry day, and for the mountain a dusting of new snow. That should have come in overnight. Temperatures will be below freezing (max -1°C on Sat morning, min -11°C on Sun afternoon). Wind will be generally light. We are going into a fine weather pattern for a while which will be nice to see some blue sky and sunshine. Yesterday was the day... back from physio by 9.30, so a change into suitable clothing and classic skis in hand I finally went out into the feld. We had a high overcast inversion type sky yesterday so it was the perfect first time of the season for me to hit the tracks. I have to be honest I did feel a little like a new born colt finding it's legs for the first time until I found the rhythm and then I made the fatal mistake of stopping out by the Zamangbahn and walking up the hill to visit her who shall not be named. I decided discretion being the better part of valour I should take the bus home, but it pulled away as I came down the hill, so snapped on my skis and skied home... slowly, and without incident thankfully. The afternoon was spent in a trip up to the recycler and then into the office to prepare for todays Conversation girls and little's tuition. My guests came back from a half day on the Golm... they came down and we sat for a happy hour with a drink before they headed out to the Kreuz Kellar for their evening. An early night for me. This month I do not have a single day where there is a break from guests in the house as every roll over is a back to back so taking time out to go up the hill visiting does not serve me well !! Today is a day of revolving door activity, and then I have an interested party coming to view the house early Saturday morning. I pressed the button on the booking page for Singapore Airlines yesterday. No trip into the village for my Friday night's entertainment tonight.... shame.
