Consciousness: That annoying time between naps.
Good Morning Tuesday...1st April, 6.25, +6.1dg forecasting fine mild days, wet evenings and light winds through the week. April Fool's day today, I know if I was in NZ then it would be prank time in many places, here it is Tuesday 1st. Yesterday was a good day, busy but good achievement day, even so I was pleased to shut the door at 17.30, pour a gin and light the fire. I know I did say yesterday that I was going to have an AFW... well, I fell at the first hurdle. Turned the oil heating off last week and while the temps outside are a balmy 18- 20dg the inside temp is sinking, so fire and a cardigan it is. Today is very definitely the absolute last day up the hill for me. 9 o'clock meet at the top for a couple of hours if the snow is good and then off. Well, skis off. I do admit to needing to be home in good condition as I have some cooking to do for tomorrow's soiree and I also have to present myself to a young man at 17.00 to discuss his gardening needs, so being a sensible girl, I will be moderate... Wednesday will be a day with me behaving like a little hamster in a wheel, as there is so much on, added to the normal is an extra two hours tuition with an adult to get her English ready for aid work in Ethiopia. Pressure pressure. I am not really enjoying it, light at the end of the tunnel is that it is only temporary. No grumbles. Happy, prank free, April Fool's Day.
