Good Morning Tuesday...8th, 6.32, +10.4dg forecasting partly cloudy morning showery afternoon... doesn't really matter to me ... the week should be sunny and I can't make use of it apart from lie in it. I suppose this is what is called an enforced holiday although not away from home. The last couple of days have been quite extraordinary, especially when you have a girl friend that comes back from a mini break in Italy on the Sunday, makes four phones calls and I am gone in half an hour. My time in Lech at the Unfallsanatorium Dr Rhomberg was the solution to the problem, one that has been a quietly ticking time bomb for quite some years and then a little twist while mowing the lawn was all that was required for it to implode. Dr Rhomberg is a super young man, so nice, but he did make me do a double take on two occasions when he dropped the F bomb, once on initial consultation and then on final inspection !!! Historically they say men are not good patients... well, information bulletin, I do not do sitting quietly very well, and with a knee that does not bend and flex easily, and no freedom of movement I see this week being a test of my character. I have a sexy white stocking to wear, brilliant here she comes yellow crutches, and I have to give myself an injection every night between 19.00-20.00 for anti thrombosis... happy happy happy. Cancelled all tuition with littles as am not in the right frame of mind to work with children, as for all the work with adults not sure. Probably better to stay busy than sit and study my navel. So the week for me will be concentrating on getting my mobility back, should be a relatively quick job, as the work done in Lech is very pretty. Agreed, beauty is in the eye of the beholder!! Bit of an orange tan thing going on but that will come off in the shower, so all in all counting my blessings it was just a miniscus and not the whole knee, or as first thought the knee cap separation. Back to Lech for fluid drainage on Thursday then it will be full steam ahead for next week...  In the meantime, obviously no high heels just flowing skirts to hide the leg!!
