A full gas Wednesday..

The odds of going to the store for a loaf of bread and coming out with only a loaf of bread are three billion to one. 
Good Morning Wednesday... 2nd, 6.23, +6.4dg, forecasting fine and clear until the weekend. I know I have been calling time on the mountain, but yesterday afternoon I finally took my skis down to the cellar in preparation to do the bases and edges and put them away for the summer. I had an easy morning doing a few runs with a friend.. probably more standing on the piste than moving down it at times.. she had a tricky knee and the early morning corduroy was a little hard with the vibrations. Spring !! There is a little dissension in town at the mo as Silvretta Montafon has closed the Zamangbahn at the other end of town and so everyone needs to come to the Hoch Joch bahn to access the mountain. They are also no longer running the chair from the Kropfen, but when you see the amount of people skiing up on the mountain it is understandable. If it hadn't been for some slalom training on the Seebliga yesterday the pistes were all but empty. Perfect. There were even seats available at the terrace bar yesterday. So the 2013/2014 ski season is now finished for me. Full stop. Hopped on my trusty steed yesterday and went to look at the garden that I had said I would do... I hope the surprise I felt at meeting the owner was not shown on my face. 47, tall and well fit!! Well fit!!! Discussion done, with some slightly uncomfortable moments when he dropped snippets of info about me that I would not have expected him to know, oh how they talk. Hopefully weather permitting I will go up there Saturday and at least get the rose sorted, the rest is not as urgent. Saturday works for me as he is away in the weekends racing a motor bike, so I can work quietly alone. Last night I was in the kitchen creating canape bases and finger foods for the little soiree this afternoon.. also did baked ricotta, P would love it as I have been very generous with the chilli flakes. I will assemble everything this afternoon.. I have a window of an hour to get it all put together and plated. This morning I have a 2 hour tuition with my adult.. we are off into town for everyday shopping experience. Home to shovel a quick lunch before two littles at 14.00 then my Wednesday girls arrive armed good to drink at 16.00. I am feeling exhausted already and am still in bed !!! I so want to get outside and clean my terrasses and water blast the mess of winter off everything. Time management not seemingly my strong point these days.
