Good Morning to Monday...7th July, 5.39, 17.6dg, 1.8ml overnight. We missed the forecasted thunderstorms, shame. Today is a good start with showers mid afternoon. Yesterday was a beautiful beautiful summers day. it was still 30dg in the shade at 17.00 here, proper weather. I started the day knowing that it was going to be a day on the lounger so did so shift and sort in the office for a coupe of hours with all the books first... sort of a conscience salve!! The rest of the day was spent in and out of the house... inside for the lights out at Silverstone, then outside for the rest of it, as I have an extra speaker wired to the TV and stereo that I can have outside, so it was a bit like the olden days when you listened rather than watched. A good race, not the end result I wanted, but a good drive from the three on the steps. Last night I allowed myself to be entertained by the Top Gear boys and their trip to Burma. These challenge shows they do away from home are a brilliant way of seeing the country side. Today is Monday and an early morning call to the hospital. I will approach it with an open mind... it would be nice to have a leg that does not constantly throb. We shall see. What ever happens today it will be an easy day... seven day countdown means that I am in serious celebrating me mode, yesterday was a lovely bottle of bubbles with lunch.. today who knows... surprise, surprise. I have still not really settled on my gift to myself, but I do have some ideas, more than likely sorted in Singapore. July is a very busy month... Happy Birthday to Bor for tomorrow, Mr B from the TCRA 15th, then new Mama Georgie on 16th. Busy busy. Happy Monday.
