Mon 5th, 5.00, -1.3dg, clear moonlit sky, forecasting mostly dry. Freeze-thaw conditions .. max 4°C on Tue morning, min -9°C on Sun night. Yesterday we had a cold dry day with late afternoon flurries here in the village. We have a clear week forecast with incoming snow Friday night and through Saturday.Perfect, just in time for my arrival home and if the predictions are correct I will need a snow shovel to get to the front door. My day here yesterday was full gas from 7.30am when my guests left. I wanted to have the Dachboden put back to rights before 11am as I had people coming in to look at it. I had a good meeting with an interested party, they now have some navel gazing to do. Even though it is early days, this process is rather unsettling... a touch of the unknown. No matter, needs must. I frittered away the rest of my day doing not a lot of anything... naughty. I had a late afternoon visit from a friend with her two small boys.. they had been competing on the low level jump up at the new jumping centre with forty other smalls. I should have walked up to watch but my head was somewhere else. Today is a guest free, tuition free, conversation free day, and no guests back in here until 16th. So cases open and preparing for tomorrow, just a little bit of downloading from the camera into the computer and good to go. Fingers crossed that it is all positive.
