A man doesn't know what he knows until he knows what he doesn't know.
Good Morning World... Sun 12th, 6.00, +1.3dg and there are stars in the night sky. Today they say sunny with a high of 11dg. Positively summery. Last snow was on the 10th.. what they call a dusting. No comment. Yesterday was another test of stamina.. The phone rang at 7.30am and it was my guests from Germany standing outside my front door... pre arranged ETA in was for 5pm, but they decided to arrive and drop luggage before they went up the mountain for a 10am private. Thankfully I was up and dressed just no face on.. fabbo. Off to my cleaning job and that was full on until 12.30, but yesterday luckily I did not feel the need to behave like a council worker and rest on the vacuum cleaner hose. Progress. Home in time to watch the FIS alpine racing with a well deserved chilly glass with lunch. It is after all the weekend, so am allowed to have aperitivo. The afternoon was spent on the ironing machine sorting all the new bed linen that I unpacked from the delivery from NZ, cupboards now full and the pressure is off the need to do fast turn around wash, dry and iron. Gosh... halo positively glowing. My two guests are two of the nicest young things from Nuremberg Germany, quiet as little church mice.. could have something to do with being exhausted from the 4 hours private tuition that he bought her as a Christmas gift,... she has never skied before!! Today I am going to sit down and plan the course work for the return start of all my littles.. first day is a test of memory day, as the last session I had with any of them was October. This will be an interesting week, and an indicator of my ability as a TOEFL. As it is Sunday I will be parked on my trusty to watch the boys and girls do there thing... Altenmarkt / Zauchensee (AUT) 09:30 Super Combined | Ladies | WC
12.01.2014 Adelboden (SUI) 10:30 Slalom | Men | WC.
All in all a blissful day doing things I enjoy, and for your information my new profile is not indicative of our current winter status... I am patient.
