#TimeToBake
Wednesday 10th, 4.45, -2.4dg... oh yay we are in the negatives...mountain forecast A dusting of new snow. Freeze-thaw conditions (max 2°C on Fri morning, min -7°C on Tue night). Wind will be generally light. The incoming dawn sky is clear, we have a 3/4 moon that is twinkly bright and the moonlight is glowing on snowy mountain tops... today is going to be a cracker. I do believe that the Silvretta Montafon is opening operations today. There is a God... but his report would definitely say "needs to try harder. " For me it is winter when the lang lauf trails on the feld out behind the house are skiable. End of!! Yesterday was a kitchen day for soups and stocks. Makes for a slightly smelly house, but the soup jugs are filled and in the fridge. No tuitions at all today so I am free to bake. My pre Christmas ducks are starting to line up slowly. Today I may well go with her that leads me astray, to cut a small Christmas tree from her mountain property, if we can get there. This will be for my front door instead of the normal decorations. I will also get a branch of Mistletoe from one of her trees as I will be away in Munich this Sunday when they have it up in the Kirchplatz, and I do want a pice for the door. Yesterday I went to the police station to ask if anyone had handed my Santa Claus in, he had a hard time trying to keep a straight at first.. so today I will go to the Fundamt and ask there. He may have been found biffed in a garden and handed in.. Tui ad comes to mind here !! So, sleeves rolled up and into a baking day today.
