#waitingforsnow

Sunday 7th, second Advent, 5.07, +1.9dg, Mountain forecast Hochjoch-Schruns Weather Summary: A light covering of new snow, mostly falling on Mon night. Temperatures will be below freezing (max -1°C on Sun morning, min -7°C on Tue afternoon). Wind will be generally light. Slowly slowly it is building. Yesterday was a brilliant day all achieved without the predicted weather, some could say expensive others would just say doing what a girl does best. What ever you say it was serious
fun. The Christmas Market in the Marktplatz in Dornbirn is always a busy market and they also have all the fresh produce markets running alongside as well. A car would have been helpful !!! Slowly ticking some boxes as it is my last white winter, well it will be when the white arrives! Seamless movement around the Vorarlberg thanks to the ÖBB and the last leg back into Schruns was almost standing room only. The winter season officially kicked off last night with Die Fantastischen Vier in Schruns and the amount of people coming into party in our little village was incredible. The amount of massive party tents that have been erected around the village is also incredible.. and this comes on the back of a radio interview I listened to the other morning with the Police about the perils of Glühwein and other alcohols that are served in vat loads at the winter markets and winter events. They did an on air experiment with volunteers, alcohol and effect, as you do. Like we don't all know the effect it has!! Choices coms to mind. Today I am doing some light ladder work to put the lights onto the outside trees... well that is my intention. I should be here tomorrow. Happy second Advent Sunday.
