Sunday.. a day of rest and play.

Before you talk, listen.
It may change what you say.

Good Morning World... Sun 29th, 6.12, +3.0dg. the roads are sounding very wet out, but because I have a body on the office floor I cannot go in and look out the window to monitor the road.. They are forecasting light flurries for this morning. I am thinking that is probably only at altitude at this temp. Yesterday was another day cleaning, first at my job then, and as I was still in clean mode, on return here in the house... as a girl must with so many feet in the house. So money in pocket thank you. Two trips up to the re-cycler with papers and plastics first trip, and then bottles second run... it is embarrasing all the clanking they make as you go over pavement bumps, then to stand for so long feeding them into the green and clear glass holes.. my excuse is I have extras in the house, and my brother is enjoying the occasional gin also... Yesterday they all had a full day on the piste... the Mother in the party came home limping with a slight twist to the knee, so ice packs administered and they all went off happily at 18.20 to catch the bus to go night tobagganing. I stayed quietly at home on my own trying to rest and re-group. I have to admit to a small touch of inability to keep up, probably over doing it. Oh well, This morning am feeling more Moochie than I have felt for quite a while, so game on in time for New Years. Today we, my brother and family, are heading off to Lech by train to socialise and rub shoulders with with the well heeled. Half an hour by train to Langen am Arlberg then a bus into Lech, it will be interesting to see how much snow they have on their side of the valley. My English family are having their final day up on the Hoch Joch, Mother's knee permitting, and the Father is off on a 5 hour snow shoe tour.. he is not a fan of alpine skiing just touring and hiking. His wish was for Lang-lauf but with no snow at this level there is sadly no lang-lauf here on the felds around the house. That is today sorted and then the English guests leave tomorrow morning, train direction Innsbruck - England. Quick turn around in the Dachboden to prepare for incoming German guests tomorrow afternoon.... and so life ticks quietly along.
