“Piglet noticed that even though he had a Very Small Heart, it could hold a rather large amount of Gratitude.”
Good Morning World... Sat 7th, 5.03, 13dg and they are expecting rain here in Wanaka later in the day. This morning we start the next part of the journey... Wanaka to Queenstown to fly to Christchurch. The last month has gone so quickly and I leave after so many happy moments here with all the wonderful people I know. The difficult part is leaving an ageing Mother, but as she is well looked after and surrounded by friends there is no point in worrying. Wanaka has been a delight and now onto Christchurch... my first visit back there in many years, and especially after the devastating earthquakes I imagine it will be a visit of mixed emotions. I was born and raised in Christchurch so not really too sure what to expect. I believe the pixies have been into my house in Schruns and turned the heating on for me.... Bless, it will be wonderful going back to a warm home with snow on the ground. So, thank you Wanaka, thank you to all my wonderful friends who have made our stay here in the town so special.. thank you especially to special besties Vicki and Greg, Walter and Ricky. It would never have happened without your amazing generosity... Group hug.
