#BeautifulWarmAndSunny #SnowInOurForecast #PeacefulMomentsInTheChurch
Wednesday 10th, 5.30, -1dg outside my window with a skinny moon and starry sky. Forecasting a mostly sunny day. This is a cold morning for us, as we haven't had a minus morning for a while. They are also forecasting for a little snow tomorrow.. fingers crossed. The weather has been so unseasonably warm that when I walked into the village yesterday at 11, it was without a coat or gloves. Me without gloves in the winter is a rare sight indeed. Last night when I was out " on the tiles " it was with coat as a precaution, but not needed. Ahhh, the vagaries of a extra super minimal wardrobe for choices!! Yesterday as I came through the Kirk Platz I could hear the organist practising so I slipped into the beautiful church and sat a while to listen to the fantastic sound of the massive organ pipes up in the Gods of the building. Candle lit, peaceful stop. Last evening was a catch up evening with a friend but being sensible and on foot I was paying attention, even though the footpaths are now clear of all ice. The evening shots are across to the Golm as it grooms after closing on a beautifully sunny day. Today we are doing a half day test run on the piste as there are so many varying opinions about the snow and it's prep at the mo. This is the beauty of a three minute walk to the lift. Watch this space.
