Wednesday 3rd Jan, 5.00am, 1dg with snow forecasted 3-6cm but accompanying winds and a possible high of 6dg. I can see the lights on top of the Golm Ski field so it is not currently snowing. Yesterday we had a mixed bag, woke to snow falling and so it continued for the morning turning to patchy rain, then blue holes in the cloud with a little sunshine. I have finally sorted skis, langlauf and alpine. I tell myself don't look at the account, so I will just close my eyes and pay it when I collect them all this morning. Then I am mobile.I had an afternoon of in and out of the village as I took in my boots for the new skis, and in and out of the village always ends up with social moments... as you do ... Another meeting with the bank this morning. This meeting is going to go one of two ways. I will either sit quietly nod and agree, or I will walk out after I leave them in no doubt as to my complete disgust as to the way the process has been, and is being handled. This afternoon I have a 16.00 meeting with the Wednesday girls @Josef'sPlatz in the Silvretta Centre. The word I have been tasked to explain is salubrious as I used it conversation yesterday - when it was looked up as to the meaning I had a message to say please explain further. I love it when people continue to want to learn even as we advance!! I will be out on the feld as soon as we get back from the meeting with the bank... joy and delight.
