Wednesday 24th Jan, 4.30, -1dg, we have stars. Yay. Today forecasting a super start but cloud coming in later in the day. It is our last day skiing with James and Michael and we will have fabulous piste and viz on the mountain today. Yesterday dawned very cloudy with tops obscured, but had cleared into blue sky by 10. The piste was brilliant, the crowds negliable and the skiing out of this world. We arrived just in time for the back basin to be opened so everything finally in operation. I see the avalanche alerts have dropped to a four... it will be interesting to see how much longer the areas up in the Arlberg remain closed in. The logisitics of managing it all must be massive, for those who cannot leave and those that are supposed to have arrived. Last night we were very quiet in the house, late the night before and then a big day on skis. This weary soul in bed by 20.00. Today we are up skiing en masse hopefully, to have last runs with the boys. There is talk of dinner @LowenHotel Tschagguns tonight which would be a bus ride in and out... it is up for discussion. I imagine it will depend on the state off all the legs at days end.
